 1.  Ten years ago, I was instrumental in forming a local Republican Club in my home of Fostoria, Ohio, which is highly democratic.  Fostoria is divided into three counties. We had gotten lost in county politics.  Our local club is a social club and we how have over 250 members who have generously donated thousands of dollars to support Republican candidates at all levels.  I have served as Chairman and Co-Chairman of this club three times and last year raised over  $25,000 through planned fundraisers.

2.  Served as campaign chairman for 3 local Republican candidates.
3.  Personally entertained Senator Mike DeWine, Senator George Voinovich, and Marilyn Quayle.
4.  I am a Century Club member of both the Hancock and Seneca County Republican Party.
5.  My husband and I have always had an “open door” policy for meeting with all political candidates that have approached us.  This has allowed us to talk openly with our local, state, and federal elected Republicans about issues facing small towns in Northwest Ohio.

6.  Member of the Hancock County Executive Committee.
7.  Attended several Republican National conventions at my own expense and attended the inauguration of President George Bush, again, at my own expense.

Vice-President of Roppe Holding Company - semi-retired
Married for 37 years to Donald P. Miller, Chairman of the Board of Roppe Holding Company.  Don is also on the State Central Committee.

Together, we have a daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons, ages 5 and 7.
I love working for the Republican cause, but most of all, I love being a grandmother.
